Love defines how God is! What is God’s love like?

“Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn’t jealous. It doesn’t brag or get conceited. It isn’t indecent. It isn’t selfish. It doesn’t get angry. It doesn’t plan to hurt anyone. It doesn’t delight in evil but is happy with the truth. It bears everything, believes everything, hopes for everything, endures everything. Love never dies.”
I Corinthians 13:4-8

Since God is holy, everything in His presence must also be holy, otherwise His holiness becomes diminished. Therefore, mankind is not able to approach God. God has to go to the people.

“But God shows how He loves us by this, that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8

Because God loves all people, He sent His only Son, Jesus, into the world to provide a way for them to be in His presence, not just on a temporary basis, but permanently and eternally

“God so loved the world that he gave His only-begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him might not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16

God’s promise to all of humanity: each person, including you and me, who believes in Jesus for salvation will be saved. 100% Guaranteed!

“If with your mouth you confess, ‘Jesus is the Lord,’ and in your heart you believe ‘God raised Him from the dead,’ you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9.

Belief involves more than intellectual acknowledgment; it is a personal trust and commitment to Jesus as Lord and Savior. This faith is a gift from God and cannot be earned by human effort.

“You are saved by a gift of grace which you get by faith. You didn’t do it. It is God’s gift. It isn’t because of anything you have done, or you might boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9

Believing in Jesus Christ means trusting that His death and resurrection paid the penalty for sin, offering forgiveness, reconciliation, and peace with God, and the promise of spending eternity with a God who loves us.

God’s love for you is: UNDESERVED, UNCONDITIONAL, and UNSTOPPABLE!

In short, you can only get to be holy by relying on Jesus for your salvation because He has already paid the price for you and everyone else to be saved. You need to stop trying to save yourself by doing good works! Works are only good when they RESULT from your faith relationship with Jesus. It is impossible for you to save yourself; ONLY GOD CAN SAVE YOU ETERNALLY by giving you the gift of faith in Jesus to be your Savior! Just ask Him to give you that gift of faith in Jesus to be your Savior.
